1) Focused on aspiring film directors, directors of photography, boom and/or lighting technicians, etc., this course track offering features teaching, instruction, and discussion on setting the "stage" for today's and tomorrow's actors - what equipment is needed, how it can be sourced cost-effectively, and most importantly, how to use it.
2) In addition to learning about and practicing with film equipment, the business end of the entertainment industry will also be discussed.
3) Program participants will learn where they can find jobs, both practical and creative, relating to their filmmaking knowledge and talents.
4) This course track includes a life skills course intended to address and acknowledge each individual outside of their artistic identity. This is a course structured in a way that the program participants from all tracks will join together and sound off on topics about society, dating, the workforce, their life and career concerns, and receive guidance regarding these topics, as well as general life tips, such as resume writing, the importance of saving money and maintaining good credit.
5) By the end of the program, each participant will have filmed a production written by the screenwriting-focused participants, starring the acting participants. Any proceeds received from the sales or contest winnings of this production will be divided among the acting and filmmaking participants.
