What is AYM For Hire?

AYM For Hire is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides educational programs for disadvantaged and foster youth ages 16-24. Our full organization name is:

Artistic Young Minds for Hire.

What is AYM for Hire's Mission Statement?

Using arts, business, and mental health education to foster education in our underprivileged youth and providing a support structure that helps them obtain jobs or further education in their preferred field.

What is the main goal of AYM For Hire?

Our main goal is to educate our program members and teach them real world applications for their natural talents, as well as help them to hone those natural talents.

Program

What types of programs does AYM For Hire offer?

Currently, our program offerings are: writing, filmmaking, acting, and graphic design. We do intend to expand these offerings in the future.

When does AYM for Hire's program year start?

The next program year will start in August 2025 and last until May of 2025. We are considering launching a summer program and will provide further information on summer sessions once that program has been developed.

What can I expect to learn in any given program?

Our curriculum for each program track is designed to teach:

The artistic elements of that program track
The business elements of that program track
Mental health aspects
Real-world applications of each art medium
Where to find creative job offerings in Illinois
Where to find further education relating to each program track
The end of each program year will feature a collaborative effort involving all program tracks

We accept many different types of donations!

Donating Your Time

We appreciate those who are willing to donate their time to us, whether it's spending time in our classes or at program events.

Donating Your Skills/Knowledge

If you have knowledge, skills or talents that can help benefit our girls, we'd love to hear from you! Our Volunteer Application is available at the provided link.

Financial Donations

Financial donations are always appreciated, and can be sent via PayPal on our Donations page.

Goods

Do you have a bunch of school supplies, furniture, office supplies, food items/snacks, or other items you'd like to donate? Feel free to Contact Us to advise of the items you're willing to give.

Are my donations tax-deductible?
